If you are planning on giving your guests a favor to take home here’s an ides: homemade cookies. My awesome mom (who happens to be a great baker) made various cookies and bars for our wedding. We served them in large glass jars which I created labels for. We purchased glassine bags from Nashville Wraps so each guest could fill up the bag with goodies to take with them. I created monogram stickers, using blank circle labels from Paper Source, that were used to seal the bags. The cookies were a hit! It was fun and fairly inexpensive way to make a wedding favor. If you are overwhelmed about making ton of cookie the weekend before you wedding, don’t worry, you can bake them a couple weeks in advance and freeze them. Just take them out the night before so they can thaw are room temperature.

could you share the template for the labels? Also, what size bag did you use?
Unfortunately, I do not have a template for these. I first created the type in Adobe Illustrator. You can use any word processing program. I used the fonts Buffet Script and Furtura. After I printed it out on 8″ x 11″ sheet of white cardstock, I cut it in half. Then I used a Martha Stewart scalloped punch (purchased at Michael’s Craft Store) to punch the top and bottom edges. This gave them the scalloped look. I then cut 2 vertical lines where the ribbon will be inserted. I used an X-Acto knife about .25″ from the edge of the paper and cut it slightly longer than the width of the ribbon. I then placed the ribbon through the holes then used hot glue to secure it to the jars. Please let me know if you have any more questions! Feel free to contact me. Good luck!
