I have been on a search for new things to make for lunch. I usually like to make my lunch the night before so it’s been hard to find recipes that are hardy enough to not be soggy, and just plain gross the next day. I found a yummy recipe on the Martha Stewart Everyday Food iPhone app for a turkey caesar salad sandwich. It was easy to make and tasted great the next day.

1. Mix 2 tbs. light mayo, 1 tbs. fresh grated or shaved parmesan cheese, the juice from half a medium size lemon, lots of fresh ground pepper and salt to taste.
2. Spread the mixture on either side of the bread of your choice. I like these whole grain sandwich thins. They are low in calories and surprisingly tasty.
3. Add some romaine lettuce.
4. Add a couple of slices of turkey breast (sliced chicken or grilled chicken would be great too), put the two halves together and you’re done!

Love Marimekko prints? I do! We have a gray and white fauna Marimekko duvet cover on our bed. I was so excited to find out that Crate and Barrel now has a ton of Marimekko items on their site. And if you live in New York City, LA, San Francisco, or Chicago you’re in luck! They are opening retail shops full of the bright, iconic prints.

Awhile back I posted a few photos of the cookie bar my mom and I made for our wedding. I received many responses asking if I had a printable template for the labels. I’m happy to say that now I do! I’ve included ten of the most popular cookies and bars and instructions on how to create signs like the ones above. Please comment on this post if you have any questions. Enjoy!

So did you get your hands on the iPad 2? If so, here are some stylish cases that may appeal to us ladies. Most of the cases above some in several color or pattern combinations. The Pixel Skin HD wrap is similar to Apple’s Smart Cover. It will wake up the iPad when you peel back the cover. If you prefer to use your iPad naked (that is without a case), the A-line bag is great when you need to travel because it has room for the charger and your other apple mobile devices.
And, yes, guys, most are also available is some more manly colors too.

This image has an ethereal quality to it. I instantly image being in the warmth of the sun’s rays and hearing waves crash on the shore. This palette would be beautiful for a sunset summer wedding on the bay or for a bedroom, don’t you think?

Looking for an appetizer to serve this Easter weekend? Here’s an easy and delicious recipe for Feta Truffles. It only requires 6 ingredients and you can serve it with various veggies. They are called truffles because you make a creamy filling out of cream cheese and feta, form them into small balls and roll them in freshly chopped herbs.

I served them with cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced cucumbers, kalamata olives and garlic sesame flat bread crisps. Delish.
My mom got me those cute bunny picks for Easter. Aren’t the cute? I think I want to use them every time I make finger foods, even if it is well past Easter. Enjoy!

I have another free Easter printable for you today! I made Easter coasters. All you need to do is print them out on heavy cardstock and cut along the dotted lines. If you are going to use drinking glasses (or any glass that my “sweat”), I recommend printing them out on a laser printer or laminating them if you are using an ink-jet printer. Water may cause the images to bleed. If you are using wine glasses or any kind of stemware, no worries, any printer will do.

With Easter just around the corner, today’s wedding post has been replaced with a free Easter printable! I made some cute tags that can printed on cardstock and used as tags for Easter baskets or treat bags. Or you can print them on sticker paper and make labels! Above are a few ideas on how I used them. (Yes, my eggs are not dyed yet, I will be doing that today).

I will have more Easter goodies for you tomorrow!

Do you decorate eggs for Easter? I still love to. Last night I boiled a dozen eggs with the anticipation of decorating them later this week. I was looking for some new decorating ideas and I remember that Martha Stewart recently came out with an Egg Dyeing 101 iPhone app. Being the big Martha Stewart Living app fan that I am, I downloaded it. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety and uniqueness of the decorating ideas. My favorite decorating idea was using electrical tale and vinyl adhesive as stencils and resists. Above are a few ideas that inspired an app (with how-to’s for all you non-iPhone Easter egg fans).
1. Square-Patterned Eggs.
2. Leaf and Flower Easter Eggs.
3. Easter Eggs with Overlapping Dot Designs (I love how these use CMYK!)
4. Such a great way to make a drying rack for your eggs.

As many of you know, I love horses. So I was naturally drawn to this photo because of its subject. Beyond the focal point, I just love the colors. The palette I created from this photo has hints of spring and the hues of the 1960′s. I can see this palette used in both a young girls room and vintage-inspired living room or office. Where would you use this combination of colors?
