Simple Fall Garland

Learn how to make a simple fall garland using felt and baker’s twine.

Simply DIY Felt Leaf Garland

All this week the weather has been so gorgeous here. It’s actually starting feel a bit like fall and not summer (as it’s been around 85-90 degrees since early this year). The cooler weather made me convince Kevin to get out the fire pit and drink minty hot chocolate.

I stepped away from the computer for a little bit today to make this simple fall inspired garland. I cut organic leaf shapes out of felt scraps and sewed them together with a needle and some baker’s twine. I’m planning on hanging this garland in the doorway between the living room and the kitchen.

Here are a few things I found inspiring this week:

A brillant way to temporary add pattern to your drinkware.

Love this simple fall table centerpiece.

These glitter magnets are a perfect way to add some sparkle to your fridge.

Christmas stuff already? That’s ok, I’d gladly have this modern advent calendar in my home.
