Who says party favors are only for birthday parties? Why not have Thanksgiving favors too? I made these little pillow boxes out of printed card stock that are the perfect size for stashing sweet treats. I know I would love someone to say,”I’m thankful for you” and here’s some delicious chocolate (or peppermints, or a homemade cookie, or whatever is your favorite).
I also made a pillow box design that has a blank space on the front for writing your someone’s name on it. This design can do double duty and can also be used as a place card on your dinner table.
To make these boxes, download the Thanksgiving pillow box template and print it on white 8.5″ x 11″ card stock. Follow the template that’s on the first page of the download and cut along the solid lines and fold it where the lines are dotted. I would recommend using a bone folder, if you have one, to score the paper where the lines are dotted. It makes the paper crease easier. Use double-sided tape along the long folded edge and assemble the box. Fold in the short edges. There’s no need to tape the short edges (unless you are filling the box with something a bit heavy).
Do you make something special for your family or friends on Thanksgiving? If so, I’d love to know!
Cut Sarah! I love the pattern on all the Thanksgiving pieces. :)
I relish, result in I found exactly what I used to be having a look for.
You have ended my four day long hunt! God Bless you man. Have a nice day.
Bye
