A couple weeks ago I shared how my glitter mason jar votive was featured in Redbook magazine. Well ever since working with the anniversary jars for that project I’ve become a huge fan of the lovely little blue jars. I’ve been using them for just about everything including drinking glasses (which would be perfect to hold any refreshing summer drink).
Today I wanted to share a super simple idea of how to use the same jars to create colorful vases. I just cut a strip of gold polka dot printed burlap (found at Joanns), wrapped it around the jars, and used strong double-stick tape to adhere it. Then I added a golden grosgrain ribbon and filled the jars with lovely mini roses and greenery. I think these would look lovely at a simple spring or summer wedding!
Want to win a case of the blue heritage jars and an awesome automatic jam and jelly maker (yes, that exists and makes it super easy to make homemade jam!)? There are 2 ways to win!

I would use the heritage blue jars in conjunction with my antique ones to create a beautiful 4th of July tablescape for my family gathering we are having. I would wrap them in a similar fashion with fashion ribbon to coordinate with the patriotic theme and add beautiful paper straws through a decorated lid :) love blue jars :)
Sounds lovely! To be entered to win the jars and jam maker on my blog, you’ll also need to comment with a link to your tweet that uses the hashtag #heritageblue :)
