Last week I attended Alt Summit in not-as-cold-as-before Salt Lake City. This was my second Alt Summit SLC and hands down my favorite part is connecting with other bloggers. It’s so inspiring and just plain fun to spend four days with like-minded people. I know many people say this, but bloggers really are some of the nicest, most authentic people I’ve ever met.
Another big part of Alt is business cards. I shared my cards (and my card anxiety) on the blog last week. So this week I wanted to share a few of my favorite cards I received. There were so many great designs, it was hard to edit this post down to just a few.
A mini book from Grace of A Storied Style, an inspired print and adorable mirror from Rue Rococo, and sea salt in a beautiful vile from Lulu the Baker.
My love for hearts melted when I received this gold foil heart card from I Heart Cleveland, this gold heart sticker and paper clip from Bree Johnson was just too cute for words, and this gold heart bobby pin from This Heart of Mine will get lots of use.
These cards all have simple, yet beautiful details on the backs of them. It’s so nice to see cards that are so beautifully designed on both the front and back. I loved the subtle crosshatched pattern on The Fox and She‘s card. One of my awesome Alt roomies, Design Improvised, had a fun fauna pattern on the back of her cards. Poppy Haus‘ cards feared gorgeous photos of her projects and the cards from Meg in Progress had an inspiring quote on them.
Here are my favorite, out-of-box business cards. Pars Caeli‘s round cards with silver foil were just too pretty, A Ruffled Life‘s cards were letterpresses and had a glittery little deer glued on them, Cricut‘s cards were a great nod to what their cutting machine can do, and the cards from Snowdrop and Company came with a DIY!

Wow. All of these are great and fabulous in their own ways–the writer in me loves the mini book–but I have to wonder about the cost of each card. How’s a blogger on a budget supposed to stand out?
