As I was picking up things around the house this weekend I came across the dog treat jar I made a couple years ago. I realized that this was the very first project I created with my Silhouette and that I never shared it with you. So without anymore delay, here’s the vinyl label I created to decorate a plain ceramic Ikea canister. This canister is no longer available but The Container Store has a similar glass one with a wood lid. We leave ours on the kitchen counter and use it to store treats for Darcy.
If you want to create your own dog treat label, you can download the svg file here. You can use your Silhouette Cameo to cut this or your Cricut Explore. If you don’t have a cutting machine, you can download the pdf file and use it as a template to hand cut your own label. I used the Silhouette premium vinyl in brown, which has held up great, even when I’ve hand washed the container.
While you’re making a treat jar, check out a few more ways to show some love for your four-legged friend over on The Neighborhood.
Download the treat and bone svg file or download the pdf file.
