Mango and Strawberry Frozen Margaritas

Love strawberry margaritas? Try this icy frozen version that uses Natalie's freshly squeezed citrus margarita mix.

Now that May is just around the corner that means other May holidays are too! Cinco de Mayo is next week so I created an icy, frozen version of everyone’s favorite Cindo de Mayo cocktail—the margarita! I’m usually an on the rocks kinda girl but I know so many of you prefer them frozen so I’ve got you covered.

I started with Natalie’s freshly squeezed margarita mix and added frozen strawberries and mangos, two of my favorite fruit flavors. The mix is a great base because unlike most mixes, it’s only made of pure cane sugar and freshly squeezed lime juice. No artificial sweeteners or colors here! These margaritas are just so easy to make that everyone will be wanting you to serve them all summer long.

Even if you're not a big fan of margaritas you're sure to love this delicious mango frozen version. It's made with Natalie's fresh margarita mix and blended with frozen mangos.

Frozen Mango Margaritas
makes 4 drinks

Ingredients:
8 ounces Natalie’s Margarita Mix
1-2 ounces tequila
2 ounces simple syrup
2 cups frozen diced mango
4 cups of ice
salt (optional)
lime slices (optional)

Place all the ingredients in a blender and pulse until the ice is crushed and the mixture is blended. Sprinkle salt on a plate and dip the top part of a glass in water and then in the salt to coat the rim. Pour the frozen mixture in the salt rimmed glass and garnish with a slice of lime.

Simple syrup can be made by combing equal parts sugar and water. Heat the mixture in a microwave safe bowl until the sugar is dissolved, about 1 minute. Allow the mixture to cool before using it in this recipe.
