If you’re gifting a dress, like this adorable knit trapeze dress, use the belt as a bow. Just fill a cute gift box with gold box filler, place the dress inside, close the lid, and tie up the package with the belt. You can go the extra festive mile by using string to tie on a few gold jingle bells. Because who wouldn’t just love getting a cute package that jingles!

Pretty gold bangles make a great gift but I think they make even prettier package decorations! I used this gold pave bangle set to adorn a white gift box. Cut two pieces of wide ribbon so they are long enough to wrap around the gift box. Take one bangle and thread one piece of ribbon through it. Gather the ends, and place the bangle in the center of the box top. Flip it over and secure the ends on the underside of the box with tape. Repeat this with the other side, pulling the ribbon so the bracelet stays in place.

Give a pretty statement necklace in a wreath! (Click through to download the free printable template)

Statement Necklace Wreath

Supplies: printable wreath template / crystal cluster necklace / cardstockscissors / tape / ribbon / awl (optional)

  1. Download the wreath template and print it out on cardstock (I like using matte photo paper). Use scissors to cut out the wreath shape.
  2. Use an awl, or a sharp pencil, to punch a hole into each small “x” on the front of the wreath.
  3. Thread one end of the necklace into the left hole. Then thread the other end into the other hole. Use tape to hold the extra chain in the back. You can make small loops out of tape and use it to keep the necklace in place.
  4. Tie a bow with the ribbon and trim the ends. Attach it to the front of the wreath shape using a small loop of tape. Then it’s ready to be gifted!

  1. Love the creative way of making simple but beautiful things. I really enjoyed this tutorial and I think I will enjoy others as much. <3

  2. Do you happen to know of any stores or sources that sells gift-boxes that are white and gold similar to the now non-existent Sugar Paper boxes?
