Ok, I’ll admit it. I only attend Super Bowl parties for the food.

Those of you that love a good game, sorry, but you know it’s really all about the snacks. So while some of you might have your eyes glued to the tv, I’ll be the one stuffing my face with spinach dip and nachos.

Whether or not your team will be playing in the big game on Sunday, you’re going to want to try these oven baked chicken wings. They are so delish and easy to make that you might just want to make all three variations!

Baked Chicken Wings

Makes 4 servings

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil. Spread out 3 pounds of chicken wings in a single layer and sprinkle generously with coarse salt. Bake for 30 minutes.
  2. Make one of the 3 sauces. Toss wings in sauce and return to baking sheet. Bake for an additional 10 minutes. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces and celery sticks.

Homemade Buffalo

1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup hot sauce
2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
4 cloves garlic, minced

Before tossing the partially baked wings in the sauce, pour some into a smaller bowl. Pour the reserved sauce over the warm wings just before serving.

Garlic Herb

1/4 olive oil
1/4 cup fresh oregano
1/4 cup fresh rosemary
1/4 cup fresh thyme
8 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh grated parmesan

This fresh herb mixture would be great on chicken breast or a whole roasted chicken for an easy week night meal.

Ginger Teriyaki

2 tbs. soy sauce
2 tbs. rice vinegar
1/2 cup honey
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbs. fresh ginger, minced
4 scallions, sliced thin

This sauce is so delicious, you might just want to make extra for dipping. It’s also great on chicken thighs for an easy dinner. Sprinkle the wings with the sliced scallions just before serving.
