Marbled Raspberry Dark Chocolate Valentine’s Day Bark

Ingredients

1 cup white chocolate chips
2 cups dark chocolate chips or chunks
red oil based food coloring
freeze dried raspberries

Directions

  1. Place the dark chocolate in a small glass bowl. Heat in microwave in 20 second increments until almost completely melted. Stir with a spatula until fully melted. Repeat with the white chocolate.
  2. Add a couple of drops of red oil based food coloring to the melted white chocolate until it’s the desired shade of pink.
  3. Immediately after, use an off-set spatula to spread out the dark chocolate onto a baking sheet lined with a silicone mat. Pour the pink tinted white chocolate on top and use a knife to swirl it into the dark chocolate. Top with freeze dried raspberries and allow it to harden (you can speed up this process by placing the entire tray in the refrigerator for 15 minutes). Once hard, break into 2-3” size pieces.

Notes

White chocolate can be really finicky to melt. Just a few degrees to hot and it becomes a clumpy mess. The fix? Have all your ingredients ready and melt the dark chocolate first. Then slowly melt the white chocolate in the microwave in 20 second increments, stopping it before it’s totally melted. Stir it like crazy using a spatula until it’s completely melted. If you wait to melt it completely in the microwave that’s when it will become too hot, trust me on this—it took me 2 attempts to get it right!
