Pocky Easter Nest Treats

Looking for a cute treat to serve this Easter? Then you gotta try these oh-so-easy and oh-so-delicious Pocky Easter nest treats! They take almost no effort to make and look almost too cute too eat. The secret is using your favorite flavor Pocky to create the nest. No fusing with melting chocolate or lugging out the mixer for this recipe. Just chop, bake, and pop them in the freezer. In just 15 minutes you’ll have a sweet Easter treat that both kids and adults will love. The hardest part is not eating all the Pocky before it’s done!

I used my two favorite flavors—Chocolate and Matcha Green Tea to make brown and green birds nests. But you can use any flavor of Pocky you like. They would be just as tasty and pretty with Strawberry Pocky!

15-minute Pocky Nest Treats

supplies

Chocolate Pocky and Matcha Pocky
silicone non-stick cupcake pan
jelly bean eggs
knife
cutting board

directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200° F. Use a kitchen knife to trim the biscuit ends off the Pocky (you can save them for snacking).  Then cut the dipped Pocky into thirds.
  2. Arrange the chopped Pocky in the cups of a silicone cupcake pan. Leave a small opening or indentation in the middle for the eggs. Place is the pre-heated oven for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from the oven and immediately place the jelly bean eggs in the center of each nest. Pop the entire pan in the fridge for 10 minutes to allow the chocolate to set. Once hard, remove the nests from the silicone pan and enjoy!

1 – 2.47 oz. box of Pocky yields 5 nest treats when using a standard size cupcake pan. And if you don’t have a silicone cupcake pan you can use a regular metal pan. Just line the cups with cupcake liners before adding the Pocky.

They can be made a day ahead but are best (and crunchiest) if you make them the same day you want to eat them. I found that the matcha coating cracks slightly after 1 day but the chocolate stay nice and smooth. If you’re planning on making them for your Easter party, I’d recommend making them the same day.
