My friend Stuart, from the BFA program at FSU, shared this yummy recipe with me last week on the blog. It sounded so good so I had to try it. The 2 ingredient recipe makes super sweet and rich dulce de leche-like frozen “ice cream.” (Ice cream is in quotes because it’s more ice than cream).

I halved Stuart’s recipe and used the above ingredients. I also add 1 tsp. vanilla extract and a pinch of cinnamon.

Blend all the ingredients…

Pour into a container and freeze over night. It will need to thaw for about 10 minutes before it is soft enough to scoop. Enjoy!

(If this is too sweet for you, I would use 1 can sweetened condensed milk and substitute the second can with 12 oz. of whole milk)

  1. Haha this is amazing! Hope you like it as much as I do. I have a bowl almost every night after dinner. It’s an old family recipe.

    Thanks Sarah!
