Bird Art Prints

Are you tired of seeing birds in art and design? You may think they are overused as they are popping up in home decor and fashion too, but I’m still a fan. There’s something so simple yet elegant about these creatures that I find fascinating. Here are some affordable fine art prints that I wouldn’t mind displaying in my home.

Yellow, Brown, and Green Color Palette

This color palette is so subdued it will work in any room in the house. It provides hints of nature and would look great in a cosy cottage office or dining room. The dreamy photo makes me think of rustic, painted furniture in soft monochromatic palettes. Where would you use this color palette?

Green, Gold and Ivory :: Color Palette

Today is my 60th color palette! I can’t believe I’ve made so many! Yoohoo!

Today’s color board is inspired by a vintage classroom. I’m loving the green hues with the muted golden yellows. It’s a minty perfection. My living room currently has this sage green hue but I never thought to add pop os gold. Where would you use this palette?

Orange Green and Pink Color Palette

Once again sorry for the lack of updates. I have been very busy with design work (which I am extremely grateful) and it has not left any blogging time. I am going to try my best to get back into this swing of things around here, but I do apologize in advance if I don’t keep on track. I am going with Kevin to LA this week for a YouTube convention so deadlines are kinda tight right now.

In the meantime, I am so excited to share this color palette with you. It reminds me of sherbet, which definitely reminds me of summer. I stumbled upon Aran’s work on here gorgeous blog. She’s a very talented food photographer and stylist. Spend some time looking through her photos, you will want to run out an buy props or bake, at least that’s what happened to me. I mean, isn’t this photo of apricots delicious?

This color palette would be so cute for a summer party. How would you use it?

Berry and Lemon Yellow Color Palette

I love the colors of summer. There are so many great color palettes inspired by this season that work so well year round. I instantly loved this photos and the colors in the gorgeous bouquet. It uses some great saturated hues and pairs them so well with the soft butter yellow dress. This color palette also reminds me of the delicious lemon cake I made for Easter.

Navy, Red, Yellow and White Color Palette

Happy 4th of July! I hope you are enjoying your day! We are in Miami and going to have a picnic with my parents tonight and watch a fireworks show. I just made cheesecakes in jars to bring with us. I will share photos of the picnic with you late this week.

I love the photo above and I think nothing is more patriotic than an American flag and a horse. The color palette above is a more rustic version of the saturated colors you normally see on the 4th. The colors look a little worn and faded and I think they would be perfect for an outdoor party.

Pink, Red, Blue, and Jade Color Palette

I love blush. It’s my makeup staple. For some ladies the can’t do without mascara or their “signature” lip color. My makeup necessity is blush. I feel naked without. When I was creating today’s color palette I thought of two things: blush and summer. I thought about blush because it’s part of my daily routine and summer has been on my mind because it’s been so hot here in Florida. I feel this photo by MayaLee captures both those things. I love how summer lends itself to heavily saturated hues inspired by nature. The blues with a hint of green in them pair perfectly with blush and a bright saturated strawberry. Now I want to paint my nail the pool blue color and wear strawberry lipstick.

Pink and Black Wedding Inspiration Board

I created this wedding board for my friend Ellie. She’s sweet and spunky and loves pink and black. She’s been ring shopping with her beau, so the big question is coming soon! I’m so excited for her and I can’t wait to help her plan her big day. I feel like pink and black can be done so many ways. In the board above, I’m picturing this color palette used with a DIY, craft touch. Happy Wedding Wednesday!

Red and Tan Color Palette

This retro color palette would be perfect for a living room. I usually see red and black paired with ivory hues in living space. I think if the ivory hues were swapped with a camel color palette would be a little usual and more modern. Where would you use this palette?
