This week I’m loving embroidery hoop art. Who knew a sewing tool could become such great wall art? I’m thinking this might be exactly what my living room needs… how cool would it be to have 5 or so hoops of various size clustered together. If you are feeling crafty, this would be a great weekend project. If you’re feeling a little less inspired, above are my favorites that are for sale.

I have long been a fan of vintage milk glass. I love the interesting shapes and textures of the glass. Last month I was in Black Mountain, NC helping my family restore a century old house. While there I visited a great antique store and picked up the vase you see on the left for $9. This week, I scoped out Etsy and found some great buys too.

Happy Autumn! Fall is officially here and that means the holidays are approaching. I love this season… the changing of leaves, all the orange and yellow hues, pumpkin lattes, ice cream and muffins, and our wedding anniversary! Our new home has double front doors that are in need of a little decorating for the season. I was looking for unique wreaths and I found so many!

The very talented Myra Callan of Twigs and Honey just released a new collection! Myra made so many beautiful accessories for myself and my wedding party nearly two years ago. I am so excited to see how her work has evolved. All items shown above are part of her new collection and ship in 4 weeks. Someone please go buy the beaded lace head wrap… or I think I may!
