A couple months ago I shared a photo on Instagram of a lovely blue Ball mason jar covered in glitter. I said that it was a secret project and now I can finally share what that secret was all about! I was commissioned by Redbook Magazine (I know, pinch me!) to create a simple DIY project in honor of Ball’s 100th anniversary. I’m proud to say that they used my photo, too!
So when you’re in the grocery store this week pick up a copy of the June issue and flip over to page 176 to see my glittery mason jar votive. You can pick up a case of 6 of these lovely blue anniversary jars, grab some Mod Podge and fine glitter and you’ll have shimmering votives that are perfect for your next get together.
You can also read a excerpt of the entire home inspirations spread on the Redbook site!
This is so exciting! I love the gold and blue pairing – so much fun!
Luci’s Morsels – fashion. food. frivolity.
So awesome that Redbook contacted you! I adore the blue mason jars – it’s always a good flea market or antique store when they have them. It was brilliant of Ball to release them for their anniversary!
congrats on being included in Redbook. And, I love the gold glitter/blue combo. fun!
Anita spotted this on her own and brought the magazine to work and showed me! i kept meaning to ask you about it! so awesome!!!
