February 2014 Meet + Make Sponsors

Find out what was in the swag bags from February’s Meet + Make!

Last Thursday I hosted my first Meet + Make of the year! Last week’s workshop was held at the Orlando West Elm store and brought together such a talented group of people. We created Valentine’s Day inspired art, which I’ll be sharing with you later this week, snacked on cookies and cupcakes and sipped on yummy flavored milk boxes. Sounds like my perfect kind of night. To top that, each attendee took home a swag bag full of amazing goodies that I hand picked from great Etsy shops.

If you couldn’t join me at last week’s Meet + Make here’s a look at who sponsored the event and made the swag bags so great!

sweet-estelle

We snacked on the dozens of cupcakes and cookies I baked. The sweets looked so lovely thanks to Sweet Estelle’s Baking Supply who supplied the red nonpareils and heart sprinkles. They also supplied these great red dot paper straws to make drinking out of mini water bottles oh so adorable. If you’re hosting a party or just love to bake make sure you check out their assortment of party supplies, cupcake liners, and sprinkles.

just-simply-l

Good stationery always makes a great gift so I wanted to include these gold confetti notecards from Just Simply L. I thought they be equally great as valentines as they would thank you notes. They also sell cute little packaging supplies such as glassine bags and my favorite wooden utensils. They even sell gift kits that include everything you’ll need to make party favors extra special.

meghan-and-julie

Hearts aren’t just for Valentine’s Day and these glittery red heart hair clips aren’t either! These adorable hair clips were handmade by Meghan & Julie just for Meet + Make!  I think they add just the perfect amount of sparkle and sass to your outfit and love that they can be worn in your hair or clipped to your jacket. In addition to sparkly hearts, they also sell bowsheadbands and more.

If you want some hair candy of your own, Meghan & Julie is offering a coupon code for 15% off your order now until February 15th! Enter SARAHHEARTS at checkout to receive the discount!

social-goods-co-2

Since love letters are so much better than love texts, Social Goods Co. supplied these paint dipped newspaper pencils and gold scalloped mini notecards. I just love the mix of newspaper and kraft paper with the bright metallics. If you have a favorite color, they sell the newspaper pencils in color dipped sets with a cute arrow pencil pouches. They also sell confetti and bright colored gift tags to help you make your next party awesome.

poofy-cheeks

I’m all about things that are both cute and practical and these Valentine’s hair ties from Poofy Cheeks Shop are just that! I was just smitten by the metallic gold and white striped one and thought the red and glittery gold ones would be the perfect complement. Poofy Cheeks sells these comfy hair ties that don’t pull on your hair in just about every color (and pattern!) you can imagine! They also sell clever baby onesies and cute jewelry so take a peek at their fun shop.

posh-little-designs

These metal heart cookie cutters from Posh Little Designs are the perfect addition to anyone’s baking supplies. I thought they would help everyone create special Valentine’s Day treats. If you’re on the search for a specific cookie cutter shape, chances are they have it! They have a great selection of metal cookie cutters, paper party straws, and other things to make your bake goods stand out.

thatch-and-thistle

Aren’t these little red heart stickers from Thatch & Thistle Supply Co. the cutest? I thought they would be the perfect way to seal a valentine card. If you love all things tiny, Thatch & Thistle sells these mini heart stickers in several colors and also sells  paint dipped mini clothespins.  I just love their huge selection of pom pom string, colorful twine, and tinsel!

urban-bird-and-co

Etsy has become my go to place to find awesome art prints and these “We’re the Perfect Match” prints from Urban Bird & Co. are no exception. I thought these screen printed posters would be the perfect not too Valentine-y touch in someone’s home. They have the perfect mix of sentiment and cleverness! I’m also a fan of their clever cloth napkins and witty wall decor.

A big thanks goes to all these sponsors who helped make this month’s Meet + Make so great!
