Last weekend I finally started my spring garden! Since it’s been in the 80s much of the last month, it’s the perfect time to start a garden here in Florida. I purchased this raised bed kit and had it up in no time. After filling it with organic potting soil and mushroom compost I put some tomato and pepper plants in. The finishing touch was adding the clay stamped garden markers I made.
I just love how these markers came out. Since the name of each plant is stamped into the clay, I don’t have to worry about them fading or washing off. I think they would make a great gift for a friend with a green thumb. You could pair them with a potted herb or some cute gardening tools.
Supplies:
– oven bake clay, in any color you like
– alphabet stamps
– dinner knife
– rolling pin
– baking sheet
– parchment paper
– oven
