One of my favorite things about Florida is that you can grow just about anything year round. But if it’s still too cool to plant things outside where you live, you can always add some greens to the inside of your home. I’m a big fan of succulents since I often forget to care for plants inside the house. I decided to dress up these pretty succulents by creating some spotted pots for them. I bought some cheap terra cotta pots and used some craft paint to give them a bold, more modern look.

Now I just can’t decide if I want to keep these spotted cuties on the patio or in the living room! They are so easy and quick to make that I think our house may soon be full of these painted terra cotta pots.

To make the paint a bit more weather resistant, I’d recommend spraying the outside of the pot with a couple coats of spray polyurethane before potting your plant in it.
