Last Thursday I hosted my second Meet + Make of the year at West Elm Orlando. As always, it was just so much fun and I really can’t wait to host the next one. It so fun to facilitate creativity and community and Meet + Make does just that—it’s an evening of bringing people together and creating. Oh and there’s sweets, sips, and swag bags too.

If you’re wondering when the next Meet + Make is (hint: late summer or early fall) be sure to sign-up for my mailing list so you know when tickets are going to go on sale.

Until then, here’s a little peek into the evening and at what we were making.

Every event has a good swag bag! Meet + Make is an evening of crafting and making at West Elm Orlando and is hosted by Sarah Hearts.

We used gift tags from sweetestelle.com and mini clothes pins to create name tags that didn't leave holes in your shirt.

We used these cute little yellow gift tags from Sweet Estelle with mini painted clothespins as name tags. This is now my favorite way to make name tags because it doesn’t leave a hole in your shirt or dress.

We created paper cut collages on wood panels at the most recent Meet + Make.

Each attendee learned how to make a paper cut collage on a wood panel. Doesn’t this mod flower design look at home on this sideboard?

The dessert table at Meet + Make. The cupcakes in a jar are the perfect party food. Add a wooden spoon to the jar with some baker's twine and you have a ready-to-eat treat.

Serve cupcakes layered in Ball mason jars for an easy make ahead party treat.

Cupcakes in jars are now one of my favorite party foods. The Ball jars looked so cute with the blue lids and kraft paper labels on them (get more details about how they were made here).

Join Sarah Hearts at the next Meet + Make at West Elm Orlando. It's a night of crafting, creating, snacks and sips.
