Gold scallops are back and now they’ve found another place in my office! After making the scalloped storage jars and the scalloped edge napkins you may have thought that I couldn’t possibly put scallops anywhere but think again—I added gold scalloped edges to cork boards to make them look a bit less pre-fab and way more fab.
Time: 1 hour (including time to allow the paint to dry)
Supplies: 14″ square cork boards / scalloped SVG file (cut 4 for each board) / gold adhesive vinyl / white paint / paint brush
Download the printable PDF template to cut the edges by hand (print on 11″ x 17″ paper)
Start with plain store bought cork boards and paint them white. While the paint is drying, use your Silhouette Cameo to cut out 4 gold vinyl scalloped edges per board using the SVG template. If you don’t have a cutting machine you can totally cut them out by hand, it just may take some time. Once the paint is completely dry mount the cork board on the wall and carefully apply the gold vinyl to the wall. The template is designed so the vinyl overlaps in the corners and makes them perfectly round.
See what else I’ve made with vinyl on my Silhouette page.

I love that “Office Sweet Office” is that a printable?!
No, it’s a screen printed print by Jeanetta Gonzales. I don’t see it in her shop not but you can reach out to her and see if it’s still available.
