Though I love picking out gifts, I like wrapping them even more. Maybe it’s because I adore color and pattern but I just love making pretty packages. Spending a little time on the small details can have such a big impact. And come on, who doesn’t want to wow their friends before they even open their gift?
If you’re short on time but big on pretty, I’ve got you covered. This season I created a series of tags and labels that you can mix and match to create your own perfectly adorned gifts. I’ve swapped traditional red and green for a brighter, more modern color palette.

Note: Each monogram gift label is a separate jpg file. To print them, place one file, or image, in each rectangular field inside the Avery 08217 Word template.
I used Avery Print-to-the-Edge Round Labels (22807) to create a bunting that dresses up a kraft paper package so well. To make your own festive garland, fold the printed labels in half over a piece of baker’s twine. Alternate patterns to add some color and tie the twine around a wrapped gift. You can also use the round labels in place of tape when wrapping a gift or they can be used to seal Christmas card envelopes.
Everyone loves monograms and these labels really make a gift pretty and personal. I used Avery Wraparound Labels (08217) to create monogram flags that can be placed directly on wrapped gifts. They can also be used to decorate gifts in jars or to dress up gift card envelopes. To create the flag on the bottom, I used scissors to make the triangular shape.
These little patterned gift tags are made with Avery Two-Side Printable Clean Edge Business Cards (8820) and are perfect for addressing gifts. They make great pocket-sized note cards and are also the perfect size to use as place cards at a holiday dinner. To create the look shown above, I placed one of the printed round labels on top of the blue and white scalloped tag.
Since everything coordinates the gift decorating possibilities are endless! How do you plan on using these printable tags and labels?
