Yep, you read correctly. Blood orange, pear and gin cocktail. Seriously so easy and so delicious you may want more than one (or 2 or three…). This is one of my favorite drinks to serve on a girls night which is why the bottle of gin is almost empty!
All you need is some blood orange Italian soda (I bought mine at World Market, but Whole Foods also has it), pear nectar, and your favorite gin. I’m a big fan of Hendricks but Bloom is my new favorite. Pour about 1 oz. of pear nectar and 1 oz. or gin (you can eye both of these measurements) into a glass full of ice. Top it with the blood orange soda and garnish with a slice of lemon. See, so easy? This will be your new favorite, I know it!
That sounds amazing! I want to try one right now, but I guess 10 am is a little early for cocktails? :) where do you buy bloom? Is it easy to find? Hendricks is currently my favorite gin but I trust your taste and want to try something new!
I won’t tell anyone if you make this now ;) You can find Bloom at Total Wine. It’s absolutely delicious. It makes a perfect gin and tonic too (with a squeeze of lime, of course)!
