This afternoon we’re heading to the UK! We’ll be in London (and nearby areas) for the next two weeks! It will be my first time over there (and Kevin’s second) so if you’ve visited or lived there before please let us know what we should eat/see/do!
We’ll be attending Summer in the City the first half of our trip and then visiting some dear friends in Leicester the second half. So any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
On my to do list? Visit the Tate Modern and of course Boden, Orla Kiely and Liberty! Maybe I need to pack an extra suitcase!

Have a super time in the UK! I would say definitely hit Liberty and if you get a chance try Carnaby Street and Covent Garden too. If you are venturing out of town I would highly recommend coming to Cambridge. It’s an amazing city with some fantastic architecture and summer activities. Safe travels!
Oooh, how exciting!
In London, you must check out Cath Kidston – plenty of polka dot goodies there: https://www.cathkidston.com/. For fab food, have a wander around Borough Market: http://boroughmarket.org.uk/
In Leicester, get your local friends to take you to the city centre market. The stalls there have the best selection of fabric for miles. Also visit the Button Boutique in Malcolm Arcade – thousands of buttons and lots of lovely sewing bits and bobs! http://buttonboutiqueleicester.co.uk/
Have fun, Sarah! :)
