Favorite Ikea Dresser Hacks

Here are some of my favorite ways to transform Ikea furniture into unique pieces.

Sarah Hearts | Favorite Ikea Dresser HacksI hope you all had a great weekend and a fun St. Patrick’s Day! My weekend was spent helping my awesome friends Kevin and Haley (you may remember seeing their lovely diy wedding awhile back) retile and fix a leak in our master bathroom. Kevin can build and fix just about anything and Haley is an awesome helper. We are seriously blessed with awesome friends.

Since our bathroom is getting a slight update I’ve had the itch to update some other things throughout the home. My next big project is going to be updating our Ikea malm bedroom furniture. We’ve had it since we got married and it’s survived a couple moves though it’s now pretty beat up. I’ve been searching the web for ideas on how to update it on an almost zero-budget.

While searching, I discovered Panyl, a thick removable, adhesive vinyl that comes is a ton of color that’s specially made for updating Ikea furniture. Genius, right?

Here are my favorite finds:
1. I Heart Organizing’s white ikea malm dresser / 2. Lacquer & Linen’s campaign style Hemnes dresser / 3. Smitten Studio’s mid-century modern Rast nightstands / 4. The Small Thing’s stenciled malm dresser / 5. Green Your Decor’s pink chevron malm dresser

  1. I’ve been itching to do something with our Malm since we’ve gotten it. I love the stencil DIY from The Small Thing. I might try that one out. I’ve heard great things about Panyl as well. Good luck with your project!
