This weekend I’ll be catching up around the house, finally cleaning up the guest room and doing a bit of working. I may even squeeze in some time to ride and do some sewing. If you’re looking for a fun weekend project, here are my favorite finds from this week.
1. This bold striped accent wall by Homey Oh My is just so awesome. And her trick? Using black vinyl tape.
2. This pleated lace skirt by Cotton + Curls is just so springy and so gorgeous.
3. These simple kraft paper Mother’s Day bouquets would be perfect for Mother’s Day or for a sweet just because gift for a friend.
I’m also loving:
The frozen mimosa recipe on The Flair Exchange would be perfect for brunch.
Every Joy the Baker recipe I’ve ever made has been oh-so-delcious. I’m sure these brown butter chocolate chip cookies wouldn’t be an exception.
I can’t wait to get my hands on Tilly and the Button’s new sewing book, Love at First Stitch. It’s now available in the UK but those of use stateside will have to wait until the fall.
Elsewhere:
I’ve over on The Neighborhood this week talking about how I set up rules for our thermostat.
Need last minute ideas on how to celebrate mom this Mother’s Day? Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered.
I always love finding hidden gems through this series of yours!

Oh my! Those brown butter cookies might just make it to my weekend list. Thanks for including our frozen mimosa on this list, xoxo.
Sarah! I’m so happy you liked my striped wall :) Thanks so much for including it in this series! I always love finding beautiful projects here every Friday!
I really love kraft paper used in simple ways. It has a very elegant look to it and takes really no effort at all.
