This week was my first full week back to work, or should I say blogging and doing a million other things (like work on my brother’s wedding invitations). After being in SLC for a week, having a cold for a week, and hosting Meet + Make, things have been a little bit crazy still as I get back into my routine. Good thing it’s a long weekend and also my birthday weekend!

If you like me and haven’t even started thinking about your 4th of July plans (oops!) here are a few cute and simple DIYs to help your celebration extra special.

1. The printable paper bags by Melanie Blodgett for Julep are just so cute. They would be perfect for storing treats for the kids or even for sending guests home with leftovers.

2. These tassel napkin tiesΒ by Creature Comforts are easy to make and chances are you already have all the materials you need.

3. Every summer BBQ needs paper straws but your 4th of July BBQ really needs these sparkler straws by Lexy Ward for Babiekins.

I’m also loving:

These toasted marshmallow chocolate-dipped ice cream sandwiches from Love & Olive Oil.

These printable July 4th sparkler labels by Almost Makes Perfect.

This red, white, and blue painted straw tote bag by Dream Green DIY.
