I’m having some serious Meet + Make withdraw! The events were so fun and a big part of that was because of the amazing sponsors that we had. So for those of you who couldn’t make the events I wanted to share what was in the swag bags. And for those of you who did come to one of the workshops, here’s a quick list to find out out more about each of the awesome shops or artists.
I first has Ticket Chocolate‘s hot chocolate sticks last January while at Alt Summit and I just loved them and knew everyone would too! They sent us their peppermint, salted caramel and French truffle hot chocolate and though everyone raved about each flavor, I’m smitten by the salted caramel. They also make some more unusual flavors like spiced ginger and three chili. Gift someone a cute mug and a set of hot chocolate sticks for a delicious gift.
Metallic heart stickers? Yes, please! Thatch & Thistle Supply Co. sent us these tiny packs of metallic heart stickers that are so perfect for decorating gifts and holiday cards. If you think like to spend more time wrapping gifts then you do buying them, check out her great selection of tassel and fringe string and gift tags.
Hello HeyYo screen printed these gorgeous gold on white sheets of gift wrap specially for Meet + Make! There are almost too pretty to use! If you love this pattern, you can buy Rebecca’s screen printed gift wrap and matching note cards here.
Since we all can’t seem to get enough of the gold and white combo, The Twinery included their thick metallic gold baker’s twine in the swag bags. This is the perfect finishing touch on all your holiday gifts. And if you’ve been looking for a specific color of baker’s twine, chances are they have it! The have the largest selection of baker’s twine I’ve ever seen!
When I was a BFA student at FSU, I spent many long hours in the studio working across from the talented Kathryn Godwin. She’s an amazing artist and visual coordinator whose work graces many store fronts and events. She created these clever magnetic matchboxes for Meet + Make so your matches are always near by.
These festive art prints from Mod by Mel were a great addition to the Jacksonville Meet + Make swag bags. I love the idea of swapping out a few framed pieces for holiday prints. She also has some great hand lettered prints that would make great gifts.
The holidays don’t have to be all Christmas trees and Santa Clauses. This geometric red kraft paper gift wrap by Caroline Creates is proof that the holidays can be both stylish and modern. Caroline also creates photo holiday cards and eco return address stamps that would make a great gift for newly weds or new homeowners.
Gina of Gina Paola Designs is another friend whom I met while at FSU. She’s a talented artist, illustrator and photographer who created these floral buck and doe cards for Meet + Make. If you want to order more to use as holiday cards or everyday note cards, head over to her shop.
Every gift needs an adorable gift tag, right? Crafted by Lindy has that covered! She generously gave everyone a pack of her hand illustrated gift tags. I just love the hand lettered Christmas sayings and of course the mid-century modern inspired ornaments. She also sells art prints that would be great in a kids room and stationery for just about every occasion.
Thank you so much to all the talented artists and designers that contributed to the holiday Meet + Make! If you love one of the items that was in your bag, don’t forget to let the artist or designer know and share a photo with the tag #meetandmake!
