Breakfast is probably my favorite meal of the day. And weeks that include brunch are the best. I just love how you can pass off both sweet and savory foods at brunch. Quiches, casseroles, fruit, pastries. Who doesn’t love sleeping in and pigging out on that stuff?
Yet no brunch is really complete without mimosas, the brunch-ing staple on everyone’s menu. But I think mimosas can get kinda boring and bland. So I’ve fixed that problem and made some icy cold mimosas using my favorite all-natural Natalie’s juices and I’m positive you’re going to want to serve at your next brunch.
As I mentioned last week, I’m a total orange juice snob. So I made my version of mimosas with Natalie’s orange juices. I used an assortment of their orange juices (mango orange is my fave) to create fresh citrus popsicles. You just place them in a glass, pour champagne over them, and sip on it as it melts into a delicious mimosa.
Watch the video above to learn how to make this icy version of the brunch classic. I’ve included a few tips on making the perfect pops too.
– Popsicle mold, I used this one
– Wooden popsicle sticks
– Rubber alphabet stamps, I used this set
– Permanent waterproof ink pad
– Washi tape or any type of removable tape
– Permanent marker
– Glassware to serve your drinks in
Since I used four different juices, I stamped the name of each juice on the popsicle sticks. This makes them a fun treat for serving a crowd since guests can easily choose which flavor they want. And with all of Natalie’s different juices, it’s so hard to choose!
Natalie’s also makes fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and I think that would make a delicious mimosa too. So it’s your in the mood for something a bit more tart, you can give that a try.
