If you follow me on Instagram you probably have noticed that I love food. A lot.

And you’ve probably noticed that I have several local spots that I adore. So when many of you said you wanted to see me start a new series that spotlights my favorite places in and around central Florida I knew the first stop on my list had to be Se7enbites. I mean breakfast is the most important meal of the day, right?

Love this mural by Horsebites on the outside of Se7enbites, a sweet a savory bakeshop in Orlando, Florida.

Se7enbites is a sweet and savory bakeshop owned by Chef Trina (pictured below) located in the Milk District of Orlando. For those of you only familiar with the area around Orlando theme parks, this is a neighborhood located a few miles east of downtown Orlando that gets it’s name from the T G Lee Dairy that’s nearby. They serve breakfast and lunch though I often will stop by and have breakfast for lunch. I can’t remember exactly how I stumbled upon this gem but soon after they opened Kevin and I began coming here a lot—like once a week!

This menu is to die for! If you're ever in Orlando you must stop in Se7enbites. Everything is so delicious!

Everything on the menu is amazing but breakfast is my fave. I am a little biased because breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, besides dessert, but they have that area covered too. Their breakfast staples are southern inspired (think house made biscuits and cheese grits) but I highly recommend ordering one of the daily specials. Kevin’s favorite special is the bacon waffle with vanilla bean syrup which has bacon baked into a thick waffle. My favorite is the European, a veggie frittata served with prosciutto, toast with fig jam and balsamic glazed greens.

Savory breakfast bread pudding covered in house made hollandaise sauce. To die for!

My favorite breakfast item that’s always on the menu its the breakfast bread pudding. It’s a savory bread pudding that’s loaded with veggies and topped with the most delicious hollandaise sauce.

Craving something sweet? Next time you're in Orlando check out Se7enbites. They serve breakfast, lunch, and have tons of sweet treats like this salted chocolate tart.

I have the biggest sweet tooth (I mean, have you seen my Pinterest board?) and I always order something sweet to go. I adore the lavender vanilla short bread but I had to try this gilded salted chocolate tart. And I also had to give the mini lemon poppy seed bundt cake a taste.

Next time you're visiting Disney World, get away from the touristy spots and check out Se7enbites. Blogger Sarah Hearts tells you why it's worth the trip!

This salted chocolate tart and lemon poppy seed bunt cake look so delicious! Perfect for a dessert bar at a shower or wedding.

Here’s the Southern. A huge heaping of cheese grits on top of a biscuit with pimento cheese, a baked egg, and bacon.

If you’re looking for a new breakfast spot or just craving something sweet, definitely check out Se7enbites. I might see you there! And if you’re visiting Orlando while visiting the parks, definitely hop in the car and check out Se7enbites and a little more of Orlando—there is so much more here than the mouse!

Next time you're visiting Orlando checkout Se7enbites, a sweet and savory bakeshop. The Southern is one of their most popular dishes: a biscuit topped with a baked egg, bacon, pimento cheese, and cheese grits. Cheat day worthy!
