One of my favorite things about fall is all the abundance of delicious, spiced treats. I seriously don’t think I can get enough pumpkin anything (I even made an entire Pinterest board devoted to pumpkin treats). I’m also a big fan of apple treats too, like spiced apple cider.
Since it’s still in the nineties here in Florida, I’m mixing up an iced version of spiked apple cider to satisfy my apple craving. If you prefer hot cider, this recipe would be great served warm too.
Spiked Apple Cider
Serving: 1 glass
Combine 1/2 cup spiced apple cider, 1 tablespoon cinnamon schnapps, and 1 tablespoon dark spiced rum in a cocktail shaker. Shake for a few seconds and pour over ice in an double old fashioned glass. You can garnish it with chunks of fresh apple or cinnamon sticks. Enjoy!
