Get ready to celebrate the 4th of July with this delicious punch recipe! It’s a boozy version of a childhood favorite that everyone is sure to love!

This grown up punch version of an Italian soda is the perfect punch to serve at 4th of July parties and other summer get togethers! Top it with fresh whipped cream and your guests are sure to love it! #Punch4Everybody #ad #sarahhearts

Strawberries to me are the quintessential summer fruit, right there along side watermelon and blueberries. And that’s a good thing because they are one of my favorites! Who doesn’t love strawberry pie or strawberry shortcake loaded with fresh berries and homemade whipped cream, right? What better way to capture the flavors and freshness of summer than to use fresh strawberries in a delicious punch recipe.

Just like my watermelon mint punch, this recipe uses fresh fruit as the base. I combined equal parts fresh strawberries, sugar and water to make a fresh fruit syrup. It’s the perfect mixer for my Italian soda inspired punch and would be equally delicious on top of homemade vanilla ice cream. When mixed with soda, half and half and Smirnoff Strawberry it makes a sweet punch that’s perfect for serving at summer parties, including your 4th of July bash this weekend!

Smirnoff Strawberry pairs so well with fresh strawberries and whipped cream! Try this Italian soda punch for a sweet treat at your next party.

Strawberry Cremosa Punch
makes 8 servings

Ingredients: 2 cups fresh strawberries, diced / 2 cups sugar / 2 cups water / 1.5 cups Smirnoff Strawberry / 2 cups club soda / 1/2 cup half and half / fresh strawberries + whipped cream for garnish
Supplies: fine mesh strainer

It's so easy to make your own fresh strawberry syrup! (Click through for recipe)

Step 1: Combine diced strawberries, sugar and water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium high heat. Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, then remove from heat and allow mixture to cool completely.

Step 2: Pour mixture over strainer into a large pitcher. Save the strawberry pieces for another use (like a strawberry sundae!)

Step 3: Add strawberry syrup to a large pitcher. When you’re ready to serve, top it with Smirnoff Strawberry, soda water and half and half. Pour the punch into glasses filled with ice and garnish with whipped cream and a fresh strawberry. Serve with festive straws and you’re ready to celebrate the 4th of July! Note: You can also skip the pitcher and make this punch recipe by the glass. Simply pour the syrup into individual glasses filled with ice and add the cream and soda.
