This weekend I sewed up a tank that I know will become a wardrobe staple this spring and summer. I used some fabric I purchased when I was in Austin last month and followed Grainline Studio’s tiny pocket tank pattern. The pattern is similar to their scout woven tee, that I sewed up last month, but this one has darts and bias binding on the arm holes and well obviously is sleeveless!
This was the first time I had sewn darts and I was pretty nervous but they were surprising easy. If I make this pattern again, I think I will go down a size and possibly bring the neckline up just a bit.
What are your go-to patterns for sewing spring and summer clothes? I’d love to try sewing more tanks and give sleeveless dresses a try.
