Valentine’s Day Nutella Dessert Pizza

This Valentine's Day make a heart-shaped dessert pizza topped with Nutella and your favorite berries. This easy-to-make recipe features a sugar cookie crust and kid-friendly although adults will love it too.

Ingredients

  • Sugar cookie dough
  • Nutella
  • Fresh raspberries or strawberries
  • Powdered sugar

Directions

  • 1)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  • 2)

On your countertop, lay out a silicone mat. Follow the directions for rolling out the sugar cookie dough on the mat. You may need to knead about ¼ cup of flour into the dough first. Roll out until about ¼ inch thick.

  • 3)

Use a knife to cut a large heart shape about 8 inches wide. Remember, you can always cut more away if needed.

  • 4)

Peel away excess dough around the heart (see notes below) and place the silicone mat on a baking sheet. Bake for 14-18 minutes until the edges are lightly browned and the middle is no longer doughy. Let cool for about 15 minutes.

  • 5)

Once the large heart cookie is cool, generously spread Nutella all over it.

  • 6)

Cut the raspberries or strawberries in half and line up on top of the Nutella.

  • 7)

If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar using a sieve.

Notes
