I’m finally getting into the fall spirit and getting excited about Halloween. Whether you’re hosting a Halloween party or have a little one trick-or-treating this year, these simple, colorful abstract trick-or-treat bags are perfect! Since we’re not into the traditional “scary” Halloween, I like that these abstract painted bags are good for a variety of uses. Decorate with typical Halloween colors, or use your own color palette for bags you can use for trick-or-treating, gift bags or even small grocery bags!
Supplies
- Square bottom fabric bags
- Acrylic paint, 4-5 colors
- Paint brushes
Step 1
Lay bags flat and make sure handles are pulled out of the bags.
Step 2
Working with one color at a time, brush lines, squares and macaroni shapes all over the bag, overlapping shapes and colors for variety.
Let the bags dry and paint the other side if desired. Then they’re ready to take out for a night of trick-or-treating!
