Not quite ready for fall? Transition from summer to fall with this non-traditional color palette and these fun DIY projects.

Happy weekend! This weekend we’re heading to a friend’s wedding and making a weekend getaway out of it and heading to St. Augustine for a couple days. I can’t wait!

If it’s still feeling way more like summer than fall where you live, how about trying one of these fun DIY projects to help transition your home from summer to fall. I’m just loving the non-traditional color palette with a mix of oranges, peaches, and violet.

1. Oh Joy! gold metal lanterns get a makeover with a crepe paper DIY.

2. A Subtle Revelry shares another use for crepe paper with these simple wreaths.

3. You Are My Fave shows you how to transform those craft store paper letters into a cute sign over on Julep.

I’m also loving:

These easy DIY fall scents. You know, if you just can’t wait any longer for a cinnamon smell to fill your house.

This upcycled book art. So simple and so cute!

It’s Homey Oh My’s first blog birthday! Congrats Amy!
